BILLY: LEAD VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
Billy has been with East Lincoln Animal Hospital since 1992. He is a Veterinary Technician, who works in the pharmacy, and also helps with other jobs such as equipment maintenance. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from UNCC. He enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and animals, and playing sports.

APRIL: REGISTERED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
April is a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) and has been at East Lincoln Animal Hospital since 2001. She is one of our primary pharmacy technicians. She is a 2002 Graduate of Gaston College of Veterinary Technology. Ever since she was a little girl, April knew she wanted to work with animals (and her great grandfather told her she would). She has been kissing “boo-boos” on animals for some time now. At East Lincoln Animal Hospital, she enjoys working in all areas of the hospital from exams with the pets and their owners to surgery preparation. Outside of work, April enjoys the company of her animals and her husband, Eric, and their children. She also likes to go skiing and snowboarding in the winter. She has 6 dogs (Macie, Trudie, Stark, Penny. Rusty, and Bubba).
BETTY: REGISTERED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
Betty is a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) and has been at East Lincoln Animal Hospital since 2007. She is a 2009 Graduate of Gaston College of Veterinary Technology. Betty is Head Surgical Technician and helps in the care of all surgical and dental patients. She enjoys spending her free time with her family and fur family of 3 dogs (Catahoula, Pit Mix, a Little Rat Terror) and her 2 goats.
BROOKE: VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
Brooke has been at East Lincoln Animal Hospital since 2017. She graduated from Gaston College Veterinary Technician Program in 2017 and is pursuing becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician. She enjoys spending time with her child when not at work and her favorite breed is the German Shepherd.
DEBORAH: VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
Deborah has worked at ELAH since 2005. Since childhood Deborah has always had a special bond with animals. They were her refuge then and still are today. Years ago, she adopted her first Chihuahua named Curley, who had been abused. Then she took in Tinkerbelle, who was 4 years old and needed a home, and Deborah needed a dog. Deborah believes that God puts people and animals in our lives for a reason. Animals have helped her through several tragedies. Aside from Deborah’s passion for animals, she enjoys working with her hands making lampshades and restoring lamps. She loves to read biographies including historical biographies and enjoys hiking. She enjoys helping people and animals. She believes that you get back what you give to others. Deborah has two Chihuahuas, “Owen Meany” aka “Speedy Gonzalez” and “Stash” aka “Stevie Wonder”.
EMILY: PHARMACY TECHNICIAN
Emily has been working at East Lincoln Animal Hospital since 2014. Emily graduated from Appalachian State University in 2017 with a cellular molecular biology degree and a minor in chemistry and plans to pursue a career as a Veterinarian. She has two dogs, Salem and Tucker.
JENNY: REGISTERED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
Jenny graduated from the Gaston College Veterinary Technology program in 2012, and is now a Registered Veterinary Technician. She knew she wanted to work with animals since she was 5-years-old and got her first family puppy named, Sandy. Sandy was a Golden Retriever mix who lived to be 16 years old and made her realize that working with animals was where she was meant to be. She now lives with her Golden Retriever mix Chloe. She also has a special interest in hamsters and has cared for several in her lifetime.
JEN V: VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
Jen first came to East Lincoln Animal Hospital from 2003 to 2006. She left us to start a family and experience a sales/marketing career for many years. After relocating to Boston, her hometown, and then back to North Carolina, she came back to work with us in 2016. She is a graduate of Francis Marion University in Florence, South Carolina, having earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology with a minor in Athletic Coaching. She has a passion for supporting her Boston sports teams! Jen lives in Huntersville with her husband, Austin, and daughter, Morgan. She is the proud owner of a Westie named Roxie, 4 cats (Julian, Max, Remy, and Simon), 3 fancy rats, and 3 goldfish. She loves gardening, spending time with family and friends, and most importantly helping and speaking for those who cannot speak for themselves (animals).
JULIA: VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
Julia has worked at East Lincoln Animal Hospital since 2011. She graduated from Gaston College Veterinary Technician Program in 2013 and is pursuing becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician. Julia enjoys spending her spare time on the lake. Julia has a mixed breed dog named Dixie and a cat named Macchiato. One of her favorite breeds are Newfoundlands.
KASEY: REGISTERED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
Kasey has been with East Lincoln Animal Hospital since 2016. She is a 2016 graduate of the Gaston College of Veterinary Technology program and became a Registered Veterinary technician in 2017. Kasey has two dogs named Boomer and Bruiser, and three goats. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking with her dogs, snowboarding, and spending time with friends and family.
MEAGAN: VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
Meagan has been working at East Lincoln Animal Hospital since 2008. She started with us as a kennel associate and has been trained as a Veterinary Technician. Meagan has one dog named Wrex and 3 cats, Kiwi, Luna, and Red Man.
WENDY: VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
Wendy has been working at East Lincoln Animal Hospital since 2014. She has worked with animals for many years and has enjoyed every minute. She has 3 children, Damion, Adam, and Isabella. She also has a spoiled rotten Pit Bull Terrier named Sobe and a shepherd mix named Hank. She spends most of her spare time with her children.
JOSIE: SURGERY TECHNICIAN
Josie has worked at East Lincoln Animal Hospital since 2017 and has worked with animals since she was 15 years old. She has a passion for all animals but has a special place in her heart for dogs. Josie’s goal is to further her education by becoming a registered Veterinary Technician and spend many more years at ELAH!

Rheta has worked at East Lincoln Animal Hospital since 2008. Rheta enjoys working with all animals but has a special place in her heart for dogs.
