Allyson: Veterinary Technician
Allyson has been with East Lincoln Animal Hospital since August 2008. She has worked in the veterinary field as either a technician or receptionist for the last 8 years. In her spare time, she volunteers for Great Dane Friends of Ruff Love, Ridgeback Rescue of the United States and the Charlotte Chapter of the Coalition to Unchain Dogs.
Allyson and her husband are owned by 5 dogs and 8 cats, all of whom are rescues. Allyson is pictured with Trina, a recent fence-recipient through the Coalition to Unchain Dogs. |

Amy: Veterinary Technician
Amy has been at East Lincoln Animal Hospital since 2005. Amy has 5 dogs, "Dakota", "Nakita", "Tater", "Foxxy", and "Bailey". She also has 12 cats!

April: Registered Veterinary Technician
April is a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) and has been at East Lincoln Animal hospital since 2001. She is a 2002 Graduate of Gaston College of Veterinary Technology.
Ever since she was a little girl, April knew she wanted to work with animals (and her great grandfather told her she would). She has been kissing "boo-boos" on animals for some time now. At ELAH, she enjoys working in all fields of the hospital from pre-exams with the pets and their owners to surgery preparation.
Outside of work, April likes to enjoy the company of her animals and husband, Eric. She also likes to go skiing and snowboarding in the winter. Her animals include 5 dogs (Brownie, Rusty, Macie, Trudie, and Penny) and 1 cat (Marvin).

Betty : Registered Veterinary Technician
Betty is a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) and has been at East Lincoln Animal hospital since 2007. She is a 2009 Graduate of Gaston College of Veterinary Technology. Betty enjoys working in all areas of the hospital from exam room visits to surgery. She likes to hike with her two dogs, "Tapper" and "Lucy" (also known as LuLu).

Billy: Veterinary Technician
Billy has been with East Lincoln Animal Hospital since 1992. He is a Veterinary Technician, works in the pharmacy, and also helps with other jobs such as equipment maintenance.
He has a BA in Biology from UNCC. He enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and animals, and playing sports.

Cathy: Veterinary Technician
Cathy is a Veterinary Technician who has been with East Lincoln Animal Hospital since 1999. She began work at ELAH as a kennel associate and moved her way up to veterinary technician. She enjoys working in surgery the most.
Cathy is an animal lover and has 3 dogs. Smoke, a chow/shar pei mix was rescued from an unpleasant home. She also has one cocker spaniel Tess and one chow mix, "Spook".

Cynthia: Registered Veterinary Technician
Cynthia has been with East Lincoln Animal Hospital since 2003. She graduated from Gaston College with an Associate in Applied Science in Veterinary Technology in 2004. Cynthia enjoys working with animals and currently works in the pharmacy. She is especially interested in feline medicine.

Darlene: Veterinary Technician
Darlene joined us at ELAH in 2006. She has worked for 13 years in the veterinary field as both a veterinary technician and receptionist. She was born and bred in NJ and has moved South! She is very interested in exotics, especially turtles and tortoises. She owns a rescued eastern box turtle who only has 2 legs.

Deborah : Veterinary Technician
Since childhood Deborah has always had a special bond with animals. They were her refuge then and still are today. She adopted her first Chihuahua named "Curley" years ago who had been abused. Now she has "Tinkerbelle" who is 4 years old and needed a home and Deborah needed a dog! Deborah believes that God puts people and animals in our lives for a reason. Animals have helped her through several tragedies.
Aside from Deborah's passion for animals, she enjoys working with her hands making lampshades and restoring lamps. She loves to read biographies including historical biographies. She enjoys helping people and animals. She believes that you get back what you give to others.
Deborah lives with 5 pets. "Tinkerbelle" is her dog and there are two other dogs in the family, "Zeus" and "Moe" and 2 cats - "Gypsy" and "Gracie". She is pictured here with her chihuahua, "Tinkerbelle." |

Drew: Veterinary Technician
Drew has been working at ELAH for about 4 years. He is a graduate of the Biology program at UNCC and has been accepted to North Carolina's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. He will be in school but may be seen working here on breaks!
Drew and his wife love golden retrievers and have one called "Tucker".

Kathleen (aka Sully): Veterinary Technician
Kathleen started working at ELAH in 2008. She has been a veterinary technician for fifteen years. She enjoys working with all species of animals and has a very tender touch with the kitties. She has a rat named "Oreo" and a kitten with cerebellar hypoplasia named "Quiver". Her two daughters love to help her care for the animals.

Karen: Veterinary Technician
Karen has been working as a Veterinary technician at ELAH since 2007. Before this time, Karen worked as a kennel technician at ELAH for 1 and 1/2 years.
Karen has 3 dogs (2 black labs and a chocolate lab) and 3 cats. She is pictured here with her favorite lab "Teddy Jenkins".

Meagan : Veterinary Technician
Meagan has been working at East Lincoln Animal Hospital since 2006. She started with us as a kennel associate and has been trained as a veterinary technician.
