Boarding (Kennel Care)

East Lincoln Animal Hospital is pleased to provide pet boarding services to our clients in the Denver, North Carolina area. When your pet comes to board with us, each pet receives individual, personal attention from our caring staff. Dogs and cats are housed in separate facilities to help minimize stress and make their stay more enjoyable. Our kennel staff also monitors the appetite and urination/bowel movements of each boarded pet, and our veterinarians will be alerted if any problems are noticed. We provide Science Diet (life stage appropriate) for each boarder or you may bring your own pet’s food if your pet is on a special diet or if you do not wish to change your pet’s diet while boarding. Medications, if needed, will be administered per your instructions.

Pets may be dropped off and picked up during regular business hours Monday through Saturday. We do NOT discharge boarders on Sundays.

Dogs: Clients have a variety of options when boarding your dog. For small dogs, you may choose a small boarding cage in a separate, quiet room, or you may choose a run if you have a more active pet that requires some space for exercise. If you have a large dog, you may board him separately, or in a “suite” if you choose to room him with his housemates. Each dog is walked at least three times a day in a fenced walking area.

¬ďAll boarded dogs are required to be current on their vaccinations (administered by a licensed veterinarian) including Bordetella, Rabies, DHPPC (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvo), and Influenza (H3N2/H3N8).

Cats: Our facilities for cats include a separate boarding room equipped with cat condos so that they may perch on a shelf if they wish. They are entertained with soothing wild bird songs played on a radio in their room.

All boarded cats are required to be current on their vaccinations (administered by a licensed veterinarian) including Rabies and FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia).
